HOUSEBOAT
The backwaters in Kerala attract tourists from all over the
world. Houseboats are usually hired by tourists to cruise through the
backwaters. The smaller Houseboats have one bedroom and a Kitchen. The bigger
ones have more than one bedroom. Some have air-conditioned bedrooms. For
cruises of longer duration there will be cooks to prepare local meals in the
kitchen. Some tourists hire the boat for overnight trips. They leave in the
evening and return the next morning.
